Our extensive experience in private lending and the personal relationships we have with our borrowers is a distinct advantage. We also have the ability to provide:

  • Same day conditional approval on loan applications; and
  • Quick approval, documentation and settlement of new loans usually within 10 working day

Loan Products

  • Low doc/self-declared income loans

  • ‘Boutique’ construction and development loans for land subdivision, home and townhouse construction and land division and construction packages.

Our loan criteria is summarised below

Loan Criteria
Purpose Loans are available for business and investment purposes only
Loan Size Minimum $20,000
Maximum by individual assessment
Interest Rate Fixed rate interest only loan paid monthly in advance
Fixed interest rate varies between 9% and 12% depending upon a borrower’s circumstances and security for the loan
Early Repayment Interest rates are fixed for the term of the loan with the right to repay early agreed in the Letter of Offer.
Generally a loan can be repaid at any time subject to an additional one month’s interest payment.
Eligible Security A registered first mortgage subject to a satisfactory valuation by an approved valuer appointed by Tidswell.
Maximum Loan to Valuation Ratio (LVR) “Residential properties – 65%
Commercial properties – 55%
Rural properties – 45%”
Loan Approval Loans are assessed and approved in accordance with Tidswell’s standard loan assessment and compliance criteria.
No mortgage guarantee insurance is required.
